It’s not the Shoulder Press, or the Military Press, or the Overhead Shoulder Press – it’s just “The Press”.

The original barbell exercise.

Many years ago, the question gym rats around the world asked one another was not “whadda bench?”, but instead “what do you press?”.

If you tuned in for the weightlifting events at the Olympics, the strongest people in the world competed to pick up heavy barbells from the floor, and press them over their heads.

Quite, apart from the benefits to your arm and shoulder strength, and their AMAZING impact on developing a rock-solid midsection, presses are just plain cool.
