Along your fitness journey you’re going to have times where your motivation is sky high. It’s brand new, it’s exciting, you’re seeing progress.

Also, there’s going to be times when it’s tested. Friends are heading for beers and you feel you’re missing out on the craic by heading to the gym. Everyone seems to be enjoying their pizza and your salad isn’t looking that appealing (even though you know you’ll feel bloated and lethargic about an hour afterwards)

This is why it’s so important to remember why you’re doing something, so you can use that as motivation to guide your actions.
