The crowd made the atmosphere on Game Day

Getting even passably good at anything requires that you do it a lot. In CrossFit, and in particular the upcoming Olympic Lifting Challenge, this translates into 1000s upon 1000s of reps of each lift to engrain a solid movement pattern.

There’s a balance point to be found between learning new techniques, hearing a different cue, and just getting on with it.

Coach Wooden had the philosophy that there’s no substitute for hard work, and in CF, and Oly Lifting, that means lots of focused reps. Mindless repetitions just for the sake of it aren’t good enough, you need to A) take on board what the coach has told you, and B) drill it until it feels like second nature again.
